BMT, an international design, engineering, science and risk management consultancy, and Nautic Star, a manufacturer of high-quality fiberglass bay boats, have announced a partnership agreement to offer the M80 Interceptor Next Generation Sea Boat to the Government of Australia.

The agreement was announced today at the Pacific International Maritime Exhibition in Sydney with the Honourable Steven Marshall, South Australian Premier.

The M80 Interceptor Sea Boat, a sovereign navy interceptor capability, has been improved over many years to optimize the balance between soft riding, rough water performance in any direction and equally impressive calm water performance.

The M80 Interceptor is a 7.3-meter vessel suitable for a number of maritime requirements, including the Royal Australian Navy Armidale Class Patrol Boats.

“BMT is excited to team up with a great South Australian company in Nautic Star to offer the M80 Interceptor vessel,” BMT Defence and Security Australia Managing Director, Peter Behrendt said.
