Norway’s Solstad Offshore has won a contract extension for two more years for its construction support vessel Normand Pacific.
The offshore vessel has been working for the Milan-headquartered Prysmian Powerlink, which has now exercised its option to extend.
The extension in for two years. The contract is now expected to keep the vessel busy with Prysmian until December 31, 2021. Moreover, Prysmian will have an option to further extend the contract for three more years.
Normand Pacific is ST-257L CD design from Skipsteknisk. The vessel is outfitted for ROV operations such as pipeline/route survey, subsea installation works through the moonpool, geotechnical survey and crane operations.
