Marin Teknikk will design and engineer a longliner factory fishing vessel to be constructed by Tersan Shipyard in Turkey for Norway-based company Ervik Havfiske to carry out fishery operations in the Atlantic.

The 60.5 metres long vessel is the 6th new vessel that Tersan Shipyard will build for Ervik Havfiske and the 11th vessel Marin Teknikk has designed for the company. Designed with high ice class, ready for operations in Antarctic regions, the vessel will be capable of fishing through her moonpool in the harsh weather conditions and she will be outfitted with the advanced fish processing plant.

“We are pleased and honoured to establish such a long term and successful relation with Ervik Havfiske” stated Sakir Erdogan, sales and marketing director of Tersan Shipyard, which noted that the vessel is its 100th new building contract.

Several Norwegian companies will be involved in equipment deliveries to the newbuild. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q3 2021.
