Heavy sea transport specialists Germany’s United Heavy Lift (UHL) and Denmark’s Ocean7 Projects have partnered to open a joint office in Norway. The new Bergen office is the first joint office between the 2 companies, from where they intend to offer a wider scope of service.

As unveiled, the coordinated activities will allow UHL and Ocean7 to cover all segments of their industry, offering customers a larger and more diverse fleet. It was also noted that the Bergen office was just the first of a number of joint branches planned to be set up. The two companies are working on opening new offices in Asia and the USA.

Lars Rolner, CEO of UHL parent company United Shipping Group, commented: “I am happy to be having this opportunity to work together with Ocean7, we have had conversations about cooperating a few years ago and now finally we see it happen. Norway we see as a very strategic place to be. Christoffer Dam Larsen will be heading the office. He is a trusted and known person to me.”
